To ensure a professional and safe dance environment, we ask that all students come dressed in appropriate attire for each class.
 
Beige Body tights, or tights must always be worn in every dance class (knee highs or full nylons are not considered tights) Black Bodysuits must also be worn in every class regardless of age or style of dance. 
 
Hair should be pulled back away from the face and neck in a ponytail, bun, or pigtails. Ballet slippers and jazz slippers/oxfords must be tight-fitting, with no more than a ¼ inch growth room, while tap shoes should not have more than ½ inch of room in the toe. If you are concerned about your shoes lasting through the year, we recommend purchasing better quality leather shoes that stretch with use and growth.

During the winter, sweaters are allowed during warm-ups only. Please refrain from layering your child with long sleeves, turtlenecks, or t-shirts under their bodysuits.

Please do not wear undergarments (i.e. underwear) under the tights, and ensure that bras are not visible. Sports bras are preferred at the studio, and we ask that traditional lace or colorful bras not be worn.

For safety reasons, we do not allow old costumes, t-shirts, baggy pants, sweatshirts, hats, hair scarves, hoop earrings, necklaces, watches, bracelets, or ill-fitting shoes in dance class.
