CODE OF CONDUCT

Although we have communicated these expectations to our students verbally over the years, we believe that implementing a Code of Conduct will foster mutual respect, accountability, and a safe learning environment while boosting self-esteem. We hope that all parents, students, teachers, and assistants will support the Code, which will enhance the way our children learn and teach them the importance of discipline, respect, and self-worth - both in our studio and beyond.

  • Students must show respect to themselves, staff, and their peers both in and out of the studio.

  • Lateness, unpreparedness, and absences are not tolerated, as they impede the student, dance class, and studio progress.

  • Students must not leave the studio without parental consent or written permission.

  • Physical violence and unsafe items are strictly prohibited, and students will be removed from class for disruptive behavior.

  • Using foul language or disrespectful language in the studio is strictly forbidden and violates the first rule of our Code.

  • Dress code must be adhered to weekly, and students must wear deodorant and sports bras if needed.

  • Food and drink are not allowed in the studios, and water bottles must be left at the door. Students must clean up any food or wrappers in the waiting room or change area.

  • Running, gum chewing, yelling, cell phones, tablets, mp3 players or cameras are not permitted in the studio during dance class.

Let's work together to maintain a positive and respectful atmosphere where all students can thrive!

WHY ATTENDANCE MATTERS

We know families are busy, but showing up to class each week makes a big difference. Even though we’re a recreational studio, we still focus on helping kids learn, improve, and feel proud of what they’re doing.

When dancers miss class, they don’t just miss steps—they miss corrections, formation changes, and time with their group. Dance is a team effort, and it’s hard to feel confident when parts of the puzzle are missing.

Absences also affect teachers who plan each class carefully. Every week builds on the last, and regular attendance helps everyone stay on track.

We want every dancer to feel ready and included. Coming to class, even on tough days, helps build responsibility and confidence.

We’re excited to kick off a new season and can’t wait to see what your dancer achieves!
