OUR COVID PROTOCOLS

-
The morning of your class time, you must complete the Covid screening sent to your email. If one is not completed prior to your child's class time, your child will not be allowed to enter the studio. This screening will be sent out to you every Sunday, but please do not complete it until your child's dance day.

-
We kindly ask that you wait in your vehicles until 5 minutes prior to class time. Your child's teacher will indicate when it is safe to come into the studio. Please follow the social distance markers outside on the sidewalk.

-
Only registered students are allowed into the studio. Parents/guardians/siblings should not accompany their child into the studio as we are trying to limit the amount of bodies that are entering the building. If your child is under the age of 6, you will be allowed to accompany them to the main door. Once they have entered the front hall, and gone through our protocol of sanitization, they are safe with us. We cannot have any backtracking of people in the main hallway so please do not enter. This is non-negotiable. If you are a parent of a Kinder dancer, you may stay, if and only if you have cleared it with the teacher prior to arriving. You will be required to wear a mask and remain socially distant from other Kinder parents and follow other protocol.

-
No dance bags will be allowed into the studio. Please have your child bring their dance shoes either in hand, in a plastic bag or a Ziploc bag, that we can place directly into the provided sanitized container that will be carried by your child into the studio. The storage cubbies that normally hold your child's dance bags will not be available for their use

-
All jackets, shoes, boots, etc must be removed and placed into a plastic bag upon entering the main door. The studio does prefer that ALL personal items remain with the parent/guardian in their vehicle (shoes and boots MUST be removed in the front hall)

-
As you enter the main door of the studio, please have your child masked. Your child’s teacher will greet your child, and ask them to sanitize their hands, place their belongings into the sanitized bins, and then wait on the social distance markers.

-
At this time, we kindly ask that no food is brought into the studio. Water bottles will be allowed but they will be sanitized at the studio entrance. We will assess changes to the no food rule week-to-week

-
Upon entering the actual Studio areas, whether it be Studio 1 or 2, there will be a designated area for your child to place their bin, remove their mask and place it in their bin, and they will be directed to go sit on an available socially distant square. Or if it is a tap class, they will be asked to go stand on a square at the barre. Please note that these squares are to ensure that all students remain socially distant from each other. It is imperative that your child understands this, and we will reiterate to them constantly to keep their hands to themselves and to remain in the square that has been assigned to them.

-
If your child has more than one class in the evening and it is time to change shoes, they will be asked to do so a few students at a time, but they will have to remain in the studio to do so.

-
In between classes, all barres, doorknobs, bins and every touchable surface will be sanitized, so the next class / students can enter safely. If your child is staying for that next class, they will be asked to go wash their hands and then go back to their square and wait patiently.

-
To accommodate the enhanced sanitization that we have had to incorporate, classes will not be back to back. All classes will have at least 10 to 15 minute break before the start of the next class, so we can safely let students exit the building and new students enter. This will allow us to sanitize as required.

-
We kindly ask that you stay in your car when you arrive to pick up your child. As they leave their class, they will be asked to don their mask, to sanitize, remove their belongings from the bin, and we will escort them safely outside. TEXT THE STUDIO TO ADVISE OF YOUR ARRIVAL.

-
It is imperative that we know who is picking up your child AND that whoever is picking them up arrive on time.
